| Biography |
Winning the iF design award is a turning point for my career. Since then, I have another perspective on the concept of design. Design has endless possibilities and possibilities come not only with concepts but also technical skills. I wanted to explore more techniques beyond concepts in the academic world; I wanted to complete my skills as a master designer as the other winners I met in the world class design award ceremony.
After I graduated in NCKU in 2005, I entered Academy of Art University (AAU) in the United States for my master’s degree. This school focused on hand-on techniques, art, style and real product production, which balanced the emotional aesthetic and the rational scientific theory when I was as an undergraduate in NCKU.
Inspired by my thesis advisors Eric Corey, an organic architect, and Jay Baldwin, an industrial designer, both experts in their professional realms, I would like to participate in projects on eco-friendly products. I am looking forward to bringing more possibilities, even impacts on saving the environment, to make our world a better place to live.
